George S. Clason (1874–1957) was an American author, businessman, and financial educator best known for his enduring work The Richest Man in Babylon. Before becoming a writer, Clason served in the U.S. Army and later founded two companies, including the Clason Map Company, which produced the first road atlas of the United States and Canada.
